Sem? ????

I have decided to venture into the ppc world. I interviewed for a position where I work. I think ppc is an essential part of optimizing. I'm pretty excited about the opportunity.  It would be a really big step in the right direction for me. Plus the sem department is top notch. I know I would learn a lot if I'm lucky enough to get the job. I'm eager to get started in my career. I think this position would be a good fit.

Starting my way back into search marketing. I've been spending a lot of time on social, content, and seo. I really enjoy those aspects of internet marketing but I know a well rounded seo is comfortable with paid search as well. I applied for a sem position and I being think that would be a really great opportunity for me to get started in the field. I'm really excited about the chance to get started in my career.

WebmasterRadio

I have been enjoying various podcasts on WebmasterRadio. If you haven't discovered this app yet I highly recommend it. It is full of great information regarding seo, ppc, affiliate,  ecomm, etc. It is really good stuff. A few of my favorites are Webcology, seo 101, ecom experts, and ppc rockstars. As someone who is just getting started, this is a great tool to use to gain valuable insight. It's also very convenient for those times you can not actually sit and read an article or book. Awesome Meeting

Had an awesome meeting today with a smart lady who really knows her way around marketing. It was so great to hear that I was am on the right path and that my struggles are not for nothing. I know that my hard work will pay off. Look out marketing world because here I come. :)

Full Sail University

I am starting the Master's program for Internet Marketing this November. I am so excited to be starting this program. I know I will learn a tremendous amount from this school and I couldn't be more pleased to be going. The school and tools they provide are top notch. Why else would the WWE partner with this school?  Exciting!

Project planning

Finishing up a class on project management.  I'm really finding this class helpful and interesting.  I'm wondering how much knowledge of this type would help me in the future with site optimization?  Would it be worth it to check into this area further?

I'm super excited for a class that is starting tomorrow. It's an IT class about project organization for business systems. I think it is going to be super interesting and I'm going to learn a lot. The instructor graduated from Duke and got her Masters from George Washington University. Those are two really good schools. It just goes to prove that online education is not a lesser education. I know plenty of people that went to a BM school and learned nothing but how to raise a 12 oz beer. To be successful in the online learning environment you must be self disciplined. It is a lot of self teaching and reaching out for that extra bit of information on your own. There is no one to hold your hand. So, it really doesn't matter what school you choose to go to, what matter is what you do while you are there.
